Whispering Pines Cottages is a small establishment nestled in a lovely pine grove with flower gardens and large, well groomed lawns, and though nice and quiet, we are located right in the heart of Lake George Village! Lake George Village is a great resort with many amenities for those who want to enjoy a great vacation!

Whispering Pines Cottages offers a perfect location for those who want the “best of both worlds” in cottage accommodation; to both enjoy the quiet of a good night’s rest and the ultimate privacy of your own cottage with multiple rooms; offering great views and a separate “home away from home” feeling; yet still have the convenience of being right within the village and the many restaurants, cruises, beaches, parks, museums, horseback riding, the rodeo, and the many fun attractions at such a great resort! With all these offerings so close to our facility, you can leave your car at your cottage and walk; as the action and adventure starts within our block, to within just a few blocks of your cottage!

Our unique and convenient location within the village offers many amenities of a large resort, yet with our location; we can offer all these conveniences- without the exclusive pricing of a big resort!

After an old fashioned cookout on the barbeque, enjoy a great dinner and then relax in the hot tub spa before heading out from your cottage for the day or evening! Or reserve a great dinner at one of the many area restaurants and then come “home” to relax, before heading out to the many evening events you can enjoy in Lake George!

The many attractions to enjoy while on vacation in Lake George are staggering! A visit to Lake George will fill a week or two of vacation time with all kinds of memorable and fun activities for the entire family!

From visiting the rodeo, going horseback riding, hiking, boating, swimming, and fishing, balloon rides, parasailing, rock climbing, scuba diving; to an afternoon spent on a short cruise or an evening taking a dinner cruise and dancing, or dining at one of the many area restaurants; attending the theatre-or going to see the new movie releases-even the Drive-In Movies are available to enjoy here! Horse drawn carriage rides will take you back in time for a nostalgic trip along the village streets; the trolley offers easy transportation in and outside the village to other neighboring area attractions; and whether shopping at the Outlet Stores and the malls or just taking a tour and sightseeing; the trolley passes by every half-hour for guests’ convenience. Our area offers so many attractions that they are sure to appeal to the many visitors to the area.
 

COTTAGES and GROUNDS

The cottages interiors are bright, sunny and immaculate and there is plenty of sun-bathing space and fun playing badminton on our well groomed lawns as well as nicely shaded areas for reading, or having an enjoyable cookout on our large picnic grounds.

All of the cottages have large front porches to relax and enjoy the quiet of home, and our picnic area is conveniently located right in front of all of the cottages, in the center of our facility.

Every cottage has its own BBQ Grill and the sizes vary by the size of the cottage, all on wheels to move easily and set up where most wanted; by the porch or at your picnic table.

The cottages of Whispering Pines are a “Quiet Oasis” in the middle of all the action and adventure of a fun filled environment. The grounds have 150-200 foot tall White Pine trees, some nearly 300 years old. The setting is very peaceful and seems remote, though we are only 1 block from the main intersection of Lake George Village and a very short distance from all the major sites and attractions. In addition to a great central location, Whispering Pines has a relaxing atmosphere to offer our guests. We have beautiful, well- maintained cottages as well as flower gardens and landscaped grounds.

Nestled in the pines are a large enclosed hot tub spa and an outdoor fireplace for your relaxation and enjoyment. The hot tub is relaxing in the evening after enjoying a busy day of fun at the many attractions, swimming and after shopping too! There is also a playground area for children to enjoy.

We are “Pet Friendly” and for your beloved four-legged family member, we offer many items necessary for a comfortable vacation for your dog or cat too! And we invite all of our guests, whether two or four legged without hesitation, our cottages are always kept immaculate for each new arrival.
